Sundown Music Festival is one of the most unique festivals and beach parties in the country and takes place on the beautiful, sandy beaches of world famous Huntington State Beach! Sundown combines the sounds of world class bands, DJ’s and artists, with the combination of waterslides, rides, zip lines and other fun, interactive attractions. Guests will also enjoy massive art installations, gourmet food options, bars, cabanas, bean bags, hammocks and other cool and unique exhibits. Sundown Music Festival is also one of the only 21+ festivals in the world!
Sundown Music Festival takes place on Saturday, September 17 & Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 11a-9pm
Brookhurst & Pacific Coast Hwy parking entrance.
This event is strictly 21+ and ID’s will be checked at the door.
No one under 21 yrs of age may attend even if they will not be drinking.
Yes, credit cards will be accepted at the bars. However, we recommend that you
bring cash, which can speed up service. There will be a line for cash only service.
(Sometimes the credit card network can be challenging on the beach)
For the safety of our guests, there is no re-entry into the event.

No, there is no access to the ocean. Please bring sunscreen and stay
There is no outside food or beverages allowed into the event, including alcohol, food and water. There will be large selection of food and beverage options available for purchase inside the venue. Please leave coolers, food and beverages in your car or at home.
We are working on offering some shaded areas to cool off throughout the event, however, it is the beach and it is impossible to offer shade to everyone without blocking the view for others. Please bring sunscreen.
There will be lockers onsite that you can reserve in advance or purchase
onsite. Please reserve in advance if you want to ensure a safe place for your

Yes, you may upgrade at the box office tent outside of the event.
Upgrades are based on availability and may sell out prior to the event. It’s
always best to purchase VIP tickets rather than upgrade if you want to ensure that you will be VIP.

PARKING / TRANSPORT FAQ
There is parking right at the beach in the State Beach parking lot.
Please note that it is summer and parking sells out quickly! We highly encourage you to ride your bikes, carpool, take uber or a taxi service to the event. Parking right at the beach is at the discretion of California State parks and can change at any time.
Yes! We highly recommend that you do this, as parking is limited. Just have
your driver drop you off at Huntington State Beach at Pacific Coast Hwy &
Brookhurst. If the parking entrance is closed they can enter from the Magnolia or
Newland entrance and drive down to the event. The State Beach parking lots are
California State Parks determine daily parking rates. Typically, parking is $15 to $20 per vehicle.
No, there are NO REFUNDS for any reason. The Festival will go on rain or shine.
